Terms

In these Terms, “You” and “Your” mean any customer requiring or booking accommodation at Emilia Apartments and “We”, “Us” and “Our” mean the management of Emilia Apartments, which is responsible to Our customers by law.

Enquiries

Within 3 days of receiving an enquiry for an accommodation, by any means (telephone, letter, or email), We are obliged to reply in writing whether or not We accept the booking, and include details on the booking (type of room, length of stay, price).

Online booking

Online booking on Our own website or on Our affiliates’ websites is a binding contract. In this case confirmation of the booking is provided during the online booking process as well as with automated emails.

Deposit

If We ask deposit for the booking, this cannot exceed the 25% of the total accommodation cost, except when Non Refundable policy is applied (see below), and on the other hand cannot be less than the charge for one night.

Cancellation

In the event that You wish to cancel a booking, and the cancellation is made 21 days prior to the agreed arrival date, We are obliged to refund the deposit in full, while for cancellations made within 21 days from arrival date, You must pay to Us the 50% of the total cost of the cancelled booking. These cancellation terms are not valid, if a Non Refundable Rate has been selected.

Non Refundable Policy Agreement

If You select a Non Refundable Rate during your booking process, You receive an extra discount on top of all of the other discounts, in return You DO NOT receive any kind of refund if You cancel Your booking at any time. In this case, the minimum deposit is half of the total (50%), the other half can be paid later.

Grace Period

Only for Instant Bookings using Our website, We offer to You a grace period for all policies including Non-Refundable. During the grace period, You can cancel the reservation without paying any fee, no questions asked. The grace period starts at the time of the Instant Booking and expires with the time limit.

• For reservations earlier then 21 days from arrival day, the time limit is 48 hours.
• Between 21 days and 12 days from arrival day, the time limit is 12 hours.
• In the last 11 days before arrival (excluding arrival day), the time limit is 2 hours.
• For reservations booked in the same day as the arrival day, there is NOT grace period.

Overbooking

In the event that We are unable to provide rooms that We have confirmed with You, We are obliged to secure Your stay in alternative accommodation of at least the same category, in the same town, which offers the same amenities and services as those advertised by Our own establishment.

Valuables

We are only responsible for valuable belongings entrusted to Us by You, and for which We have issued the relevant receipt.

Pets

Keeping pets of any kind in Our hotel is forbidden, unless We have provide an arrangement on this issue and We have accepted in writing.

Offers & Rewards

From time to time we may present Offers (such as discounts or free nights) and Rewards to our guests. We are entitled to change the terms & conditions for these Offers & Rewards at any time, or we may withdraw them altogether, without warning and without any obligation to anyone. However, if You already have received such an Offer or Reward, You are entitled to the full rights as promised by the received Offer or Reward.

Errors

In rare situations where wrong prices or any kind of other errors have been found, in Our promotional and sales material of any form, even after the agreement of a booking, We will correct the error and amend accordingly the details of the booking, at Our sole discretion. In this case, You have the right to withdraw from any agreement with Us, but only when Our services or supply of any items under the agreement, have not started yet. If any service or supply of items has been started even partially, the withdraw must be negotiated and agreed by both of You and Us.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the Greek laws and regulated by the Greek National Tourism Organisation. The courts in Rethymno of Crete shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which, might arise out of or in connection with these Terms.
